Andreas Kontogiannis holds a BSc and integrated M.Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from National Technical University of Athens. He is currently an M.Sc. student in Data Science and Machine Learning at National Technical University of Athens. His research interests include Reinforcement Learning, Imitation Learning, Active Learning, Hierarchical ML, Learning Representations and Efficient Sampling. In general, he is interested in the theory and foundations of Machine Learning research. His recent research work is related to Autonomous Agents and Explainable Reinforcement Learning on application fields, like Web Information Retrieval (e.g. focused web crawling) and Multi-Agent Systems (e.g. air traffic management).
